News & Events July 18, 2008 – Nuon announces the appointment of Joan Dawson to the Nuon leadership team. Ms. Dawson will serve as Director of Business Administration for the Nuon companies as well as Business Development for Nuon subsidiary Virtuon, Inc. Ms Dawson background includes more than fifteen years of senior-level and executive experience in management, staffing, training and outsourcing of technology professionals. June 30, 2009 – Nuon announces the formation of its second wholly-owned subsidiary, Virtuon, Inc. Virtuon is positioned as a IT virtualization services company, focusing on providing a full spectrum of IT virtualization services, including consulting, contracting, education, and software development. April 20, 2009 – Nuon announces the formation of a new wholly-owned subsidiary, Etherion, Inc. Etherion’s charter is to focus on development and commercialization of the high-performance data switching and routing IP portfolio resulting from Nuon R&D efforts. December 5, 2008 – Nuon is represented at IEEE Globecom 2008, the premier telecommunications event for industry professionals and academics from around the world ( http://www.comsoc.org/confs/globecom/2008/ ), by ASU professor and Nuon’s President, Dr. Joseph Hui, and CTO David Daniel. The two company founders co-authored a paper entitled “Terabit Ethernet: A Time-Space Carrier Access Method” (download paper). The paper was accepted for publication and presented at the conference as part of the Next Generation Networks session. November 21, 2008 – Nuon announces the appointment of Robert Klinger to the Nuon leadership team. Mr. Klinger will serve as Vice President of Intellectual Property, bringing extensive experience to Nuon in the critical areas of patent development, licensing, brokering, and prosecution. Mr. Klinger is a Registered Patent Attorney, founder and Managing Director of Intellectual Capital Holdings LLC, and a member of the intellectual property section of the American Bar Association.
